What's a Bounty Pack?

Can someone please tell me what a "Bounty Pack" is? I keep seeing women at the Antenatal clinic with these white envelope things, with Bounty Pack written on them. I don't have one though.

blimey that takes me back, my eldest is 27 and they were giving them out then, it used to be like the pampers new born gift pack they do now, vouchers and samples and stuff all in one box or bag. some of the samples lasted ages too.

I got mine at my 12 week scan. It's somewhere to keep your notes and it's got lots of bits and bobs in - lots of vouchers, a copy of Emma's diary (like a A5 book with tips and a week by week guide in), a paper pampers picture frame thing to put a scan photo in, and just lots of leaflets and bits and bobs in. It's definately worth a look. I've just gone to get mine to see if there's a phone number, but I can only see a website (www.bounty.com). I would ask at your next ante natal clinic!

You get mini samples....like johnsons baby shampoo and stuff.

Much like a starter pack for newborn babies.

And not the bars of choccy!!!!

Gives you a chance to 'try before you buy'. Some of the stuff is good; however you don't see much from the Body Shop included...

some bounty packs are awful though, it may depend on area or time of year but i got a small bottle of antibacterial spray, a sample of washing powder and the rest was just junk mail in one of mine.

Have you got a midwife yet?

Thanks everyone. I never got one, I was just given a blue folder to keep my notes in. I have an Antenatal class in a couple of weeks, might ask about it.

One of the first visits to midwife she normally gives one to you for hospital notes, worth asking her about it because some good info in them

my mum got in her bounty pack

breast pads

baby lotion

baby shampoo

milton steriliser tablets

5x nappies

a pack of wipes

2x white cloth things

and loads of coupons

but that was about 3 years ago ( I don't know how I remembered )

I got a voucher from the midwife, then had to collect the Bounty pack from Boots. I also got a pack from Emma's Diary, which I got from the Dr, and had to pick up that one from Lloyds Pharmacy
