For all you know naylor could be a 40 year old woman who's been paying 40% tax for the god knows how many years....and has just found herself in a unpredicted situation. Don't be so sweeping with your judgements.

I was a teenage mother and at 36 this is the first time I've been out of work (besides when my Dad was dying)

If you read her post again you will see that she is looking for work.
And where does she expect to find work when she is going to have a baby in 28 weeks and go off on maternity leave?

I wouldn't employ her, would you?
Well as a single parent, living of benefits to provide for my children i think another - view has the wrong opinion of us!! I was 16 when i had my little boys n i wouldnt change them or the littlemoney i get to live on for the world. Not all teeneage parents live in 1 bedroom sqats, its what you make of yourself and obviously Naylor wants to make something of themselfves and there baby, thats why she aske for advice in the 1st place. You dont knw anything about her you cnt just presume she has never had a job she could of lost it for a very good reason and i knw how hard it is to actually find a job these days!
I might be claiming benefits but i dont live in a tacky little house, its brand new 3 storey and its all thanks to another view for paying her tax!! cheers hun!!!!!!

Naylor you might be better off not claiming job seekers, relax for a while and enjoy your pregnancy you will be able to clam income support for you and your baby!
"I might be claiming benefits but i dont live in a tacky little house, its brand new 3 storey and its all thanks to another view for paying her tax!! cheers hun!!!!!! "

Exactly what I mean. Where's the incentive for you to find work when you can leech off the tax payer. I would give you f**k all if I were in charge, just enough for food, clothing and shelter.

Naylor doesn't want to make something of herself. Her post is "I'm having a kid, how much do I get".
You give me f**k all any how, alls i receive is enough for food clothing and shelter,(sometimes not even enough for that) what do you think we get lump sums to go spending on things we have always dreamed off having, its called making ends meet and making the best of what u have!!
Your judging naylor off just a few sentences, she says in her post that she is looking for work, fair enough its gunna be difficult but at least shes trying!!!
How do you afford to live in a 3 storey house then? Once minute you thank me for paying for your house, next you say I don't give you anything!

No wonder you can't get a job, who would want to employ such an idiot.
In all honesty, no I wouldn't employ her.

You are still pre judging her though. One time in my life I was on income support and how people survive on it is beyond me.
Well i think naylor should claim for everything crisis loans, bugeting loans ewt you can get. after all another views paying for it all and shes calling people idiots. She works all week and pays us to stay at home watching jeremy kyle.
I thought another view was a bloke.....

He doesn't pay for me to sit at home all day. My better half pays for that :-)
Lol jeremy kyle, i think another-view would be good on there!!!

I afford to live in my 3storey house coz ur paying my housing benefit!!!
Your job obviously must bore u for you to be doing naff all all day apart frm giving people abuse!!!

Firstly i would like to thank vicky09,tammyJo,ummmmm and all the other people that have commented in my favour. Another-view if you could please keep you comments to yourself as i dont deserve any of this. I am a 25year old woman and worked since the day i left school, not to mention Saturday jobs such as paper round and cafe work since being about 13! I was the manager of a large cosmetics company for 7 years and this is the first time i have never worked in my life, only due to not being able to find more work since i left 7months ago. My baby wasnt unplanned or unwanted and i did want to use my spare pound in the condom machine as i needed change for my trolley, i am on the pill and thought my pound would of been better spend that way. This baby is going to mean the world to me, and i am trying to sort out things financially, if that be by finding a job or claiming benifits on a tempory basis, after all i think i have paied my fair into the system these last few years!!
Thank you for your support and id like to thank all the people commenting on my behalf for there quaility entertainment(you have made me feel like not getting a job, this is better than jeremy kyle)
Can i also thank chelle as i now have an appointment with an adviser from the job centre :-) on and up grom here forward

thanx chapsxxx
I still dont think you'll get much help from them to be honest this early on. Also i still dont think you'll be too lucky on the job front.

little confused though as you said that the baby wasn't unplanned but then said you are on the pill? so it was unplanned then? or you planned a baby with no job?
Question Author
Obviously i was taking the pill to prevent pregnancy but it wasnt something that i hadnt planned or thought about planning, it happend and ive never been happier to be expecting my 1st baby.

to be fair i was asking for advice on what was avalible for me not to be asked about if i planned my baby or not, its going to have a loving mother and father and thats alls that counts!
thats fine!
If you look, although it wasn't help as such i did say that i dont think you are entitled to much if anything.

Funnily enough I do know what I am talking about, I work within a business that would/will be giving you the advice you will get at the JCP. I am also pregnant with my first baby(23 weeks). So i am not being harsh just honest!!
I'm 23

try using this

its pretty good and will should say the same as the JCP will

sorry ......... will/should
Hi naylor,
I'm glad your getting things sorted. You seem to have shut another view up too, (although you shouldn't have had to justify your question anyway).

Good luck and best wishes to you and baby,
Chelle x

Thanx chelle for you kind words, my god he has some opinions on him/her what ever it is.i think the comments he was making was totally unfair, i wasnt asking for money i was only looking for a bit of advice.. Now ive got some i shall use it, thanx to puma aswell.
xx
no probs

good luck with everything :o)
hi

i was made redundant whilst on maternity leave with my first and i'm now pregnant with my second.

i called up the job centre as i was told i should be claiming for my contributions. that was all i wanted but they applied for the dole also. so i'm now on that till my contributions run out in december then they mentioned maternity allowance.

i'm not sure how much it is a month but they did say i should apply for that when the benefits run out.
