If you do not like the editorial direction we have taken this is fine, and constructive criticism is welcome. Non-constructive criticism name-calling is not welcome.
I am afraid you are in a minority however Tamborine, we remove abusive users and posts as well as those which are unsuitable and we receive a great deal of support for it. Explain to me the "nannying," choices we have made and your reasons for disliking them and we can have a debate about it. If, however, your reasons are partisan and unconsidered then you are unlikely to get far.

I choose this site over Gumtree etc - as I would be sussed out 'cause my friends are on gumtree, which is a 'pulling' meatmarket IMAO.
This is a public forum but one does register to be on; even tho' I can't control where my missives reverberate on the internet I was unaware of re-productions on other sites.
The Ed team take exception when abers advertise other chat-sites on here......pot and all that?

In fairness I reach more people on here than on twitter! The point is we want more people to join and enjoy The AnswerBank and social media might be one way to do it.
YY - your question went up mainly because of a personal affinity I felt to your plight (I have quite a few objects brought off eBay which I wouldn't have brought otherwise!)
I was hoping these could be thought of as "editors picks" in a way!
All the best,

No Tamborine, not pot and kettle at all. The difference is that they are doing something against the Site Rules!
Click the terms of use at the bottom.
Its the same as all other websites.
"You acknowledge and agree that unless otherwise specified, copyright and all rights in the contents of the site belong to or are owned by AnswerBank, which owns and operates The AnswerBank."
I presume that means irf your not happy you need to build your own website.
