Should Surrogacy be allowed in the United Kingdom?

At school I am taking part in the Extended Project Qualification and I have chosen to look into surrogacy so any opinions or views would be very helpful. Thank you.

No. There are already too many people on the planet. To be finding artificial ways to create more humans is stupid at best.

Yes it should. People who use surrogates tend to want a baby so much they cherish it. I'd prefer people like that having kids than clueless teenagers.

you only need to ask the question once, not bombard the site with it.

If feel that surrogacy is great in some situations. I also think that such a selfless act by any person is amazing. I know i couldnt create a baby and give birth and then hand that child over to other parents.

Would that be more or less than couple who can have them naturally? I can't abide this 'oh they so wanted a baby they adopted/used a surrogate' etc etc. Just because most couples can have children naturally does NOT mean they want/love/care for them any less!

surrogacy is already happening in this country anyway
