Hi louise, try not to worry too much, baby's probably moved and is lying in an awkward position, probably pressing somewhere uncomfortable!....just keep an eye on things, and if the pain gets worse, see your GP.................just for reassurance really!.......not too many weeks to go now!.............Good Luck!..........

Just watch you don't have a kidney infection. I've had one and it went on for about a week before I even considered my kidneys - I just thought I'd turned funny or something, and my friend was plagued with them through both her pregnancies. They're easy enough sorted out so it's nothing to worry about, but keep it in mind if the pain persists and see your GP.
my sister had a bad back while pregnant and not th child is 2 n half years and she still suffers with it she is only 19 , try heat pads
Same here re the backache with both pregnancies. The physiotherapist gave me some safe exercises to do but also recommended a special belt (like a very large elastic and velcro strap) that you put round your back and fastened with the velcro under your bump - immediate relief!! All the best to you and the little one....................x
Hi,
hope back pains still worn off but just in case . . . I got terrible back pain on and off for a few days before I gave birth at 33 weeks. Was told by midwife at hospital when I went down to get it checked out that baby was in awkward position and not to worry but waters broke the day after. The pain wasn't constant (until just before birth) but went up and down throughout the day. Could be same with you?x
oh, and I used a warm wheat bag to help with pain and it worked a bit x
