The lungs will not necessarily be fully developed and baby may suffer breathing problems. There is also a high risk of baby being low birthweight as much of the growth of a foetus is in the last 5 weeks of pregnancy.
i have researched before thinking about this and it says that at 35 weeks pregnant your baby has a 99.9% chance of survival and that he is fully formed. And i want to because i have a disability called klippel trenaunay syndrome in my leg which is basically too many veins and i get blood clots. As i have got further in my pregnancy its putting more pressure on my leg. And you all saying if this is the case then i should let the doctors deal with it but the doctors don't know anything about this syndrome as it is really rare
Speak to your doctor and explain your syndrome, the doctor will then research the condition and decide if it is wise to induce you early. If they do induce you they will do so in a safe manner in hospital, they will also give you steroids to mature your baby's lungs fully.
Anyone who would consider self inducing early should never have gotten pregnant in the first place, it shows a complete lack of common sense and is very selfish.

yes and i know shes a midwife but she also knows nothing about my syndrome. a vein has already burst in my leg and all the doctor could say was it was a bruise but it wasnt i could see the blood underneath my skin and it was really painful. The more pressure that is put on my leg means the more chance of more veins bursting
I've just read quite abit about it as there are dozens of google hits, ask your midwife to read them:

to daffy654!!.. before u start saying i shouldnt of got pregnant in the first place .. well your wrong and im not selfish like i said before i would never put my baby in danger as i have already researched this for a few days now and my baby should weigh around 5 pounds now and his lungs are near enough fully developed now and has a 99.9% of survival
Speak to the consultant that you have for your syndrome and then request that they discuss this with your midwife/ consultant you have for pregnancy.
Do not risk trying to start labour yourself, its a crazy idea! Babies grow on average 0.5lbs a week in last weeks of labour as well as develope their lungs at that stage.

Go back to your GP straight away and tell him exactly what you have put on here. If he won't listen you can ask for a 2nd opinion. Daffy is right. Only a trained doctor can make this decision for you and a doctor worth his salts will find out if he doesn't know.
Don't do anything stupid to endanger yourself or your baby.
