That's not quite correct...............I only started paying full NI stamp after my first divorce and thought I didn't have sufficient contributions. However my first husband's contributions were taken into account so I receive a full pension.
Ubasses has provided the important link but, if your pension is only fairly small (and you've got little or no other income) it's worth remembering that it gets topped up by Pension Credit.
Pension Credit looks at your total income (from all sources). If it's less than £137.35 per week it will be topped up to that amount through Pension Credit:

thanks for all your help on links - which I havent looked at yet. But my question was HOW MUCH IS A FULL STATE PENSION ?? I know it depends on individual circumstances, and I know I can get a pension forecast - I know there is topup pension credit, and that But what I want to know is HOW MUCH IS A FULL STATE PENSION AT THIS present time.
