If you got woken early hours of morning by a load of people outside and looked out window and it was one of your friends 14 year old sons would you tell the mother?

Does that mean early hours paper round or early hours 1 -2 or so AM?
Question Author
the father is not about, but if so I would let the mother tell him
Yes.

she probably knows 4getmeknot - if your 14 year old was out until the early hours I suspect you would still be awake. Difficult one that
I'd still tell her even if it was paper-round early.

I told her when I saw her yesterday, she said he had stayed at a mates, he's now grounded. It was half 3 in morning.
Question Author
I just feel bad being the snitch, but then I always got found out too, and did me good to be kept in
Don't feel bad 4get. Nasty things can happen.
You'd feel worse if something happened to him when he was out late.
Question Author
glad you all said yes
no, but i'd have shouted out of the window at them
I would tell the parents that you were about to call the police when you recognised their son.

Some years ago, we had some yobs making a lot of racket outside at about 3 am, and our daughter recognised a few of them. So I got the parents phone numbers and called them immediately! Woke up 5 sets of parents, told them their kids were keeping me awake and to get the little.... darlings home.

S'funny, it didn't happen again!
Certainly would!............she needs to know what her son is doing!...he should be tucked up in his bed at his age!.......she needs to see what her son is up to, and hopefully she can sort it!..............in view of the circumstances though!.........doubtful that she can!...........shame!...............
Question Author
in view of what circumstances? She has grounded him.

yes i would like to know if it was my son or daughter out at that time.
