13 yr old daughter and options part 2
6 Answers
firstly, a huge thank you to everyone for their advice on my daughter chosing her options.
last night, we sat down and went through what's available on the school website. Apart from the usual compulsory subjects, she is allowed to choose 3 options or 2 options and one option for vocational training and to work for an NVQ.
She chose Biology and photography plus she's also chosed to do day release at college doing beauty therapy working towards an NVQ
I let her make all the choices but tried explaining that what she wants now may not turn out to what she wants in later life and explained about the current employment situation. She's well happy with that and having a happy daughter makes me a happy daddy.
Thanks again.
