To all of you who offered suggestions on how to settle her lady ship, she has settled beautifully tonight, with only one wake up due to some plank outside blaring there car music, but she went back off. Im hoping this isnt just a fluke and im enjoying being able to sit here in peace and quite enjoying it!

They all get there in the end. Thing 2 will not go to sleep in his bed at the moment and I can't sit with him for too long or he will wake thing 1 up. I put him on the sofa with the lights off and he soon goes off, then I carry him up to bed. How old is your little one?

shes almost two, and shes been a right pain today i had to carry her upside down from the shops earlier because she wouldnt walk just lie and protest, and then had to bribe her in with juice. i knew something wasnt right here as she settles like an angel at our friends house.
