Boo -like Doctor Pixie on embarrassing bodies -what were her parents thinking? lol
thanks Ava, Dylan is my grandson's name BUT people call him 'Dill'! aaaaggggh!
lol exactly crystalbee :-)
aach hw is combines with your surname!

i know a 'logan low' ... ?
I was born on 'D Day', there, now you know how old I am, and my dad suggested Dwight Montgomery, thank goodness my mother got her way and I ended up with.......
Jaquine Dingleberry??
I know a Dylan, he always ends up being called Dilly.

My brother likes odd names and if their daughter had been a boy they were going to call him Heath.
jack, none of the rest, sorry
Oh, when they had their daughter they named her Ava :)
Which coincidentally is also the name of my sofa. Lol.

(I'll stop now)
I have an unusual name, I've never met anyone with the same name, I hate it.

I would never, ever saddle my child with a novelty name. Stick to the classics, even the forgotten ones that have apparently gone out of fashion, they come back around again.
My three grandchildren are called Max, Brooke (a boy) and Orlando. You're welcome to any of those . We were all saying Max, 'Bruch' and what for the next two? Violin and Concerto?

Very unusual names attract mirth and teasing, and may cause difficulty when the person is constantly misheard or required to spell the name ("No. That's J-A-X-O-N, not J-A-C-K-S-O-N"). You really don't need to give a child that for the rest of his life.
Branston ?
purple p, pickle comes to mind..
I like Cal, Jake, Jacob
cal as in calorie, shame that some traditional names are dying out, or at least gone out of fashion
LOL @ Em10 !
My mother wanted to call me Christopher Robin until my father found out.....I ended up being called after him which I think is really nice.
What is his dad's name? I'll bet he would be chuffed.
We chose a short list of 6...............then waited until she was a couple of weeks old to pick the one we thought suited her.
My youngest two were going to be called Navana and Zach. When she popped out it got changed to Megan and Zach was that name for three days till I got to the point I stopped calling him by his name, decided we had to change it to Drew. Still like the name but he prefers Zach. Names are really hard to pick out of the 5 I picked I only like 2 the rest were not really heard of then and suddenly became popular. I like Drew, Marti was the other and now I like Kelso.
