Public displays of affection on Facebook etc
59 Answers
Just looked at Facebook and two friends (a couple who live together) were posting about how they are looking forward to their holiday, how they love each other, etc, etc. Then another friend posted, reminding them that they'd be going home to each other later today and to keep the slushy stuff until then rather than making it public. They were both a bit offended to say the least.
I must admit, it made me want to barf, but am I just being a grumpy old bat? Does anyone else find this sort of thing nauseating on a public forum? Answers from AB couples especially welcome - do you ever find yourselves doing this?

I don't mind it to an extent. If it's just the odd thing every now and then I think it can be sweet but there are some couples who seem to not be able to function properly day to day without some sort of public outpouring of barf inducing love quotes every five minutes and it's the ones that go into detail about what will happen when they see each other next that make me want to throw the laptop from a tall building.
But then I'm single so I'm probably just bitter and jealous.
