What do I do with house?

My mother has recently passed away, I am dealing with her estate, what do I need to do regarding the house, it will be split between myself & 3 sibblings, we will probably rent it out until the market improves, but who do I need to inform???

As it would be income the taxman would probably be interested. Aside from that I can't think of anyone. Letting agents maybe.
The house isn't yours yet once the estate is finalised you will be able to either sell or rent out. It took a year before we were able to put my dads house on the market.

In the meantime you may have to tell the council tax people and mortgage lender (if any). Cancel the phone/TV etc

Aside from all the above- be prepared for a bumpy ride with siblings.....These are the occasions where families tend to split right down the middle!
The market will only get worse - suggest you sell asap.
