Goodness knows, neither of us were looking for a partner at the time we met, we just clicked.
Sense of humour,still laughing nearly 30 years on.
Don't know either, I'd known him in the workplace for at least 6 years and never took any notice of him in that way.

As Boxy...plus his being interesting with a great sense of humour and loving birding did it for me.

Not sure, I was sat in a Wine bar with a mate, putting the World to rights as you do, she walked in with a group of friends, male and female, I just said to my mate,"That brunette in the leather jacket, she's mine!"
We have just celebrated our Silver Wedding.

My wife to me, (apart from my grammar) my wife has low esteem & I stood up for her ( Long storey) I help people, I stand up for people that can not stand up for themselves, Black humor! Weird sense of humor?? ( Some will know) My ability to achive.
A number of things which added up to a very attractive package.
Mysteriousness. Seriousness. Penetrating blue eyes. A challenge.
Oh and obvious intelligence. And the fact he wasn't 'one of the lads'. Very different.
And then finding out he was a great nature and animal lover.

I was greatly impressed by her quietness and calm, her understanding of people. "Carakeel" has been through more grief and torment in her life than most of us could ever cope with, it has made her a very calm, understanding and loving Woman.
