If you are not happy with your childs school with how they have handled a bullying issue how do you make a complaint to OFSTED?

That's not how you do it. Find the school's policy on complaints and do it that way. You may not be happy but the school may well have done things by the book but you don't like the outcome. It honestly is best to do it properly and you will probably get it resolved a lot quicker too. (Ps - if it is your child being bullied I hope it all gets sorted quickly.)

Thank you for your reply. It's not my child but a friends.

I have suggested she goes throught the complaints proceedure but she has little faith in the school right now.

Her son (10yrs) is being bullied by a girl so much that he snapped and pushed her out of the way. She is now saying he has been bullying her.

They have a new head of year who, without checking or observing anything, told his mother he had a split persinality and was a danger to all the children in the play ground. Even the same head of year admitted that in class he was a joy to have around, is bright and attentive, engaging and popular and well behaved. No teachers have had any issues with him... ever.

The girl on the other hand is disruptive and ls a known lier and comes from a challenging family.

His mother even had to call the police because the girls mother and adult sister was threatening him on fb and was waiting for him after school because they were going to 'get the little f*****' The girls mother has been 'asked to leave' the school several times for adusive and threatening behaviour towards staff!!

The head teacher knows all this and still will not accept that the girl is wrong and that it is him that is the problem.

How can you feel you will be listened to when the school has decided even without evidence?

He has been so cowed by this situation he is becomeing depressed and his once top grades are slipping and the school are blaiming everything else except the real issue.
