give up the bottle? How often should a child be bathed? My 2 bath every other evening on cold days, and every evening in summer.

There's no should, just what suits you.

My son had a bottle til he was about 14 months, my daughter about 9-10 months, they had a bath everynight as part of their wind down routine.
1)in my opinion about 1 year old, or perhaps when they can ask for it
2) every 3rd day
When you feel like it and make it gradual. There is no set age or time for anything. If your kids are dirty bath them, if not leave them.
Phleb, there are no rules. Just do what you think is best. Don't fret
That sounds fine, phleb. Your child can give up the bottle as soon as she is drinking from a beaker. In theory, a year old, although i have seen many older than that still with bottles.
How are you doing though?
Like Rocky I bathed mine every evening to wind them down for bedtime. They had bottles until they were about 3 but only for nap time and bed time.

bathing schedule sounds OK- I used to shower everyday before work - laxer now I am retired and we certainly didnt at skool - baths on strict rota twice a week. I am not suggesting you are running a concentration camp but my father as a POW had a guaranteed shower once a fortnight....

so bathing OK....

bottle ask a younger population. everything else OK Phleb ? - just thnk we might meet at my next OP - - - I will take a bath !

Some babies are never bottle fed, like our boys - the older stopped taking the breast at 7 months but was already onto a feeder cup (one of those with a little perforated spout on the lid).
My son was breast fed until he was 15 months but would never use a beaker.
My son took ages to get to use a beaker, he was (and still is) a lazy sod, daughter was completely different, once she could control how she ate and drank, she did just that.

They're all different and they all develop at different rates, the thing to remember though, is that they all get there in the end.

at age one I feel that a baby should be introduced with a no spill sippy cup
at the age of one when they can be introduced to a no spill sippy cup
I gave up baths years ago, can't remember the last time I had one.
I breastfed my 4 for 12-18 months each. None of them would ever take a bottle, but you introduce cooled boiled water in a beaker when they start solids- which was about 4 months old, at that time.
