MY FRIEND SPENT TIME IN A CHILDRENS HOME IN THE EARLY 1950.SHE DOES NOT KNOW THE NAME OF THIS HOME BUT SHE LIVED IN LONDON AREA,IS THERE ANY WAY SHE COULD FIND OUT WHERE THE HOME WAS AND THE NAME OF IT.MANY THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

I would imagine she'd need to try the local authorities in London, if she really has no idea whereabouts it was she may have a problem as there are quite a few London Boroughs, and a few boundary changes since the 50's.

Can she remember any landmarks, train stations, bus stops perhaps, any shop names?

Her medical records may have it as a previous address. Worth a try
