One Brother

I know I haven't on posting for a long time but have been reading some of the posts.

Just wanted to let you one of the brothers passed last Friday night - will be buried tomorrow.

Must say he was in so much pain but the stubborn git never ever once complained. He truly did bear his pain like a soldier. Never ever wanted any one to know he was in so much pain.

He he had heart failure, cancer and many holes in his back and front of his body. Also bleeding psoriasis of his feet and lastly we found out he had been suffering from Asbestos

He refused hospital care right up to the end. He did get kinda get care from his sons and his partner (they could only do what they could do). Anyway he is no pain now.

yes Murray - went very smoothly and the 4 sons stood him proud. and also they got rid of their kids who you know don't understand and run about mad in the church - all in all went very well indeed. My heart went out to his partner - she broke her heart. Thanks for asking Murray.

I am doing okay as I know that he couldn't go through any more pain or suffering particularly in silence. If it had have gone on he would have needed palliative care so he got his wish by dying at home with his family around him.

Thinking of you jenny I have suffered the same loss and it is hard - my thoughts are with you and your family - make sure that you look after yourself

I do worry about the lads as they have been through so much with the loss of their mother about 20 years ago and then their brother being murdered at 15 years of age - I do hope they keep on the right road of their lives and do their mum and dad proud.
