Am I Being Selfish?
16 Answers
My sister broke her leg recently. Her friend brought her a movie, candy, popcorn, $15 iTunes gift card, and more. My aunt bought her a set of 3 books, 8 boxes (like at the movies) of candy, ice cream, and more. Her friends routinely bring her Dunkin Donuts. My aunt got me a bag of M&Ms. My sister is very demanding and never uses please or thank you. My mom will yell at me and then turn around and be all sweet to my sis. My mom makes my sister a fancy breakfast (eggs and bacon, pancakes, etc.) while I get instant oatmeal. Nobody pays any attention to me. I'm really upset about the whole thing. Am I being selfish?

people should be nice all the time, not just when something happens. you may feel a bit put out at the moment (i.e. feeling a bit unloved), but sometimes siblings will get more or less attention at different times. you sound fairly young and it is normal to feel like this at times. my brother was the golden boy who could do no wrong as a child......but now he is a fat, balding divorcee who gets dunk all day. karma can be cruel, and you may have to wait a while for it to work x :-)
