My dad is visiting his parents' and he wants me to go with him. But I hate going because I can't leave my mom alone and my mom also hates meeting my grandparents. Besides their house is very small. I dont want to go not because I hate my grandparents or something but I just hate visiting the village. I want to say I dont want to go but I am sure my dad will try to persuade me, by saying my grandparents want to see me. How can I let him down easy?
"He just wants his wish to be fulfilled, you know kind of selfish..."
you also just want your wish to be fulfilled - you know, kind of selfish?
your grandparents won't be around for ever, are you just never going to see them again?? They will probably always live in the same place, so ideally you need to "get over" this aversion to going to the village, (i know it's very easy for me to say)
IS YOUR MOM ILL? IS THIS THE REASON YOU DON'T WANT TO LEAVE HER ALONE? IF SHE IS ILL, I AM SURE YOUR DAD AND GRANDPARENTS WILL UNDERSTAND. IF NOT, MAYBE IT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO VISIT YOUR GRANDPARENTS WITH YOUR DAD.YOUR GRANDPARENTS ARE PROBABLY GET UP THERE IN AGE, AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU.
