Are My Parents Right To Threaten Me With Severe Punishment If I Sneak Out To A Party ?

a few weeks ago I got put into lockdown as a punishment for shoplifting, my parents let me off a few days early if I promised to behave, in 2 weeks time there is a party I want to go to my parents said I cant go as there will be alcohol etc, I planned to sneak out and go, my sister told my parents, and they said if I went I would receive 2 weekends of lockdown ( LOCKED IN MY ROOM ) last time I got locked up I HATED it so much, I cant bear this punishment again, my parents said it is a deterrent and it is MEANT to be tough.
my parents think the party is tonight, but its in 2 weeks so I have a chance of sneaking out and getting away with it, I really want to go but I cant afford to get caught as I CANT do the punishment WHAT DO YOU THINK ?

It's up to you if you think it's worth the risk. Your parents have told you what will happen if you are caught. If I was one of your parents, the punishment would be longer.

I am never going to shoplift again so no need to bring it up,
I just want to go out and have fun, but I cant face being punished again I MUST not get caught, I hate confined spaces so I cant bear being locked up, I was really hoping for advice from grown ups to help me get away with it ?

I'm dead serious about my advice Becky, you have two choices either stay living with your parents and abide by their rules, or leave. It's rude, disrespectful and wrong to think you can live in their house and please yourself.
