I am not being coy or rude. But as a so called professional author I would expect that you would proof read your posts before sending out a copy. You apologised for getting my username wrong but seem incapable of correcting your error once again. You said you had rectified your error. I am beginning to believe it is deliberate rudeness. //
I think you are being coy, but that is your choice.
As to the mis-spelling of your name, I did omit to correct before sending, but as far as proof-reading is concerned, I expect the same freedom as others receive, as do I, that simple typos are not picked up in the interest of flowing exchanges.
I am not a 'so-called professional author' but I am a professional freelance writer, and if I am being paid for writing, I do proof-read very carefully, when it's for free, I tend not to bother.
I confirm that my mis-spelling of your name is a genuine mistake, I am not so oblique, or indeed rude, as to do so on purpose, I am sorry that you perceive that as my intention.
// You would be the first to whinge if I addressed you by your surname wouldn't you? //
I would - because you could only do that deliberately, not in error as I have.
