101 Answers
as you all know I have been sentenced to 3 weekends imprisonment by my parents for sneaking out to a party, I am only on punishment at weekends because I go to school, this coming weekend I will be locked in my room again, my parents let me keep my pc and tv last time, now they have said I will lose ALL forms of entertainment, I am going to go mad I will be bored out of my head, all I am asking is PLEASE PLEASE can I keep my tv, my parents said no ( SCHOOL BOOKS ONLY )
surly losing my freedom is punishment enough and I should be allowed to keep my tv do you agree ?

I am not being coy or rude. But as a so called professional author I would expect that you would proof read your posts before sending out a copy. You apologised for getting my username wrong but seem incapable of correcting your error once again. You said you had rectified your error. I am beginning to believe it is deliberate rudeness. You would be the first to whinge if I addressed you by your surname wouldn't you?

I think you are being coy, but that is your choice.
As to the mis-spelling of your name, I did omit to correct before sending, but as far as proof-reading is concerned, I expect the same freedom as others receive, as do I, that simple typos are not picked up in the interest of flowing exchanges.
I am not a 'so-called professional author' but I am a professional freelance writer, and if I am being paid for writing, I do proof-read very carefully, when it's for free, I tend not to bother.
I confirm that my mis-spelling of your name is a genuine mistake, I am not so oblique, or indeed rude, as to do so on purpose, I am sorry that you perceive that as my intention.

I would - because you could only do that deliberately, not in error as I have.

Of course. If you expect me to swallow that. Nothing further to communicate. //
You can 'swallow it' or not, as you wish, I really don't care either way.
I have offered you the courtesy of an explanation for what you perceive as rudeness, if you prefer not to believe me that is your choice, but know two things -
One - I don't lie, certainly not to appease the thin skin of a complete stranger, far too much trouble!
Two - If I really wanted to be rude to you, you would know about it - no subtlety involved I can assure now.
Now - can we get back to the thread?
