To take the topic seriously, you aren't committing an offence but the person at the other end is. But there's worse in the offing. As long as it stays online -- ie, you never meet -- and with no sexual content exchanged then you're at least somewhat safe. But if either of those things changes, and the longer it goes on the greater chance that he's "grooming" you to do one or the other, then it becomes very dangerous indeed. Bail out now.
