I do when the missus is not looking. She spends hours in the cat food aisle wondering what to throw away this week.

Buy at half price and fill the freezer.

We buy all our meat and fish reduced. We bought a chest freezer for that very purpose. When I make, say, a fish pie, I'll use 4 packs of different fish and freeze into 15 little portions for my little Boo Boo. We must save a fortune over the course of a year.

I do mine online.
Not me, I buy everything full price , that’s why I’ll never be rich Sparkles , haha

Tried online once, very useful but I like to get out and see what bargains are there.

I buy about six legs of lamb every year when they are half price. What would we do without freezers.
I’ve done online but mainly Xmas as I prefer leaving the house
You still get bargains online.
I miss browsing the reduced shelves now I shop online.

It can actually be fun building a menu from what you find there.

I just like the banter with the checkout staff. First name terms at a few stores now.
Leaving the house to go shopping is not my idea of fun.

I love going food shopping, maybe cause I love food.
I find going to the supermarket really stressful so I shop online
Absolutely SparklyKid. I look online too because it's easier to see which items are on special offer, so my trolley is mainly reduced and special offer items. Very rarely pay full price for anything.
Do you really think that’s all I’d do????
Sheesh!
I have coffee with friends, so you see I socialise and shop ::0)

Early best answer, but, LadyCG is spot on. Who needs an empty freezer. It is cheaper to freeze food than air.
I like shopping online with Tesco. If you go into 'offers' they have lots of products that are reduced, many of them half price.

I have just purchased two boxes of Whiskas for Frankie, he is supposed to be eating the special/expensive food for his kidney failure but he doesn't like it and he sits and screams at me. I lack willpower so I weakened and bought him his Whiskas.

Who is that to Bobbi ?
And well deserved too @sparkles
I've never tried on-line shopping but even though I don't like shopping I do keep a watchful eye out for reduced/special offers etc...

On my receipt have read 'Total savings this shop: 13p' I was made up for the day.
