i almost hate to ask this q as i provoked such ire last time i asked about them, but someone might be able to advise me. you have to re-confirm your eligibility every 3 months. It's usually an easy process, but this time i want to close one of the accounts, or not re-confirm for one of them. I can't work out how to do it. The helpline is closed (presumably redeployed to other areas of benefits that need helping more at the mo) does anyone know how to close one of the accounts but not the other if you have 2?

Don’t know if this will help but if you go to gov.uk and search child benefits the answer could be there

Their website says the phone line hours have changed, not closed.

there is no option to confirm for only one and not the other. thanks tcl that proably explains it. i think i did call around 4
