Neighbor Is Not Complying With The Social Distancing
47 Answers
My neighbor next door is not complying with the law and I reported them on the police web chat.
A visitor has been drinking in the garden with the neighbors all night.
The neighbors is in their 50s probably still young and not fear of the virus.

>>> I wouldn't worry too much about 2m distancing. This arbitrary figure has absolutely no basis in science. It was dreamt up by those in government
Yup! The World Health Organisation's recommendation is to maintain a distance of just 1 metre between yourself and others:

Most countries in Europe have either gone along with that 1 metre figure or extended it to 1.5 metres.

Communist? I think not!
Tedros was a leading member of the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front, which overthrew the Communist People's Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in 1991.
The WHO declared a 'public health emergency of international concern' at a time when there were only 82 known cases (and not a single death) outside of China, on 30 January. It seems a little harsh to blame them for the subsequent inaction of many governments around the world.

What have you got against communists anyway?
>>> the only leader of the WHO without a medical qualification to his name
If you mean that he's not qualified to patch up your broken arm or treat your tonsilitis, I'd have to agree. However for someone who's in a leading position in the fight against infectious and contagious diseases, I'd have though that his MSc in Immunology of Infectious Diseases (from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine) and his PhD in Community Health (from the University of Nottingham) would be regarded as more relevant qualifications anyway.

Where would you rather live, Birdie? The USA or Cuba? It's a no-brainer for me!

IMO if the neighbours want to risk their health social drinking in their own garden with their neighbours then that's their lookout. It's not like they're running amok imposing on others unbidden. I can't see the point of telling tales for something that minor. I'd mind my own business were I in your shoes.
// Be warned, under FOI rules in the US snitchers have been snitched on.// {Might happen here.}
right in substance but not in detail - it would be data protection and not FOI ( companies and company and ministry data)
and yes if someone writes a document wiv Peter Pedant on it, I may well have a right to the info. and you can work out who done it
I had a rat letter from the council
Colins mad widow had dobbed me into the council before contacting me. actually her address was on the rat letter ( thats not me I thought oh -- - its HER ) - the council hadnt quite realised that it was a neighbour doing in another neighbour without even going round first - - rather than a tenant complaining about a do-nothing landlord
always do it anonymously
or by telephone - using a telephone box if you can find one ! and wivva funny voice

Blimey, if I reported some of my neighbours to the police for breaking the rules, I'd never be off the 'phone! All around me they are having friends and family visiting and BBQ's in the gardens. One family even brought along a new born baby! I don't approve, but I can't report them. Am I wrong? I actually know someone who told the police about the baby, but I haven't seen them since to find out what happened.
