How To Resolve A Stand Off With My Sister
7 Answers
Hi Everyone,
I would be grateful for your comments/suggestions on a family issue I am having.
Basically, my elder sister with who I previously had a close relationship is not accepting any telephone calls/email communication from me.
I believe this has arisen because of a an incident on 31st of May 2021 when I was walking in a park in Cambridge where I live and someone in a car tooted their horn at me twice.
I believe the person in the car was my sister visiting my younger sister who lives in Cambridge and it looks as if she thought that I was ignoring her.
Since that time my sister has refused to communicate with me by telephone or email which has caused me considerable distress.
What I would like to do is resolve the situation as quickly as possible so that my sister and I can resume our close relationship as before.
I was thinking of writing a letter and posting it as this is a more personal approach or even visiting her at her house in Surrey to talk about the situation.
I do not want the matter to drag on much longer as in my opinion the longer a situation like this continues the harder it is to resolve.
I would therefore be grateful for your suggestions as to how I could best resolve this impasse.
Kind Regards
Richard

If her phone accepts answer messages write a quite poem to the tune of Hey Big Spender, but change it to "Hey Big Sister". Find this on karaoke on you tube and sing her the song........ Hey Big Sister I really miss ya How about doing a coffee with me soon?

Sounds highly unlikely.
If the times match, maybe something was discussed between your two sisters that has resulted in you being cut off. Have you tried asking your younger sister if she knows anything?
