This guy I been on and off dating he said he was confused for a while as he made no effort so now I'm trying to prove I am by suggest meeting up Sunday he said sounds good and to remind him closer to time so I messaged him today to ask if he still up for it and he read it but not replied. Why could this be?

As I know that I've written countless times before here, texting (or similar) is a horrendous way to conduct a relationship. The wording of messages and replies (or the simple absence of replies) is far too easily open to misinterpretation.
