It depends how well she knows him. People do seem to hug more now than they used to. My hairdresser hugs his regular customers - and he’s not gay. If she’s uncomfortable with it she should ask him not to do it - or find another salon.

Sounds to me like he is just being friendly and glad of your custom, my hairdresser does it as well, there are nice people out there you know. But if you don’t like it go elsewhere.

This is about a tanning salon ?!?!? Gee whizz. I was wondering why you went to a leather tanners: but I guess it's the same job in the main.

a) getting a tan isn't isn't good for you so don't go. If it's fake, why bother; be true to yourself.

b) if it's creepy to you then ok, you feel it's creepy: but it may be that he's just a touchy feely type. They do exist and can be a bit much if you aren't. The kisses may be a bit much for most people though, seems rather effeminate; so if it bothers you, tell him that you're uncomfortable with it.
