This random guy is messaging me saying we can go to know each other and says his girlfriend don't know. Do I message her and tell her?

Abbey, if this random guy is willing to get to know you behind his girlfriend's back, do you think that he would treat you any differently should you become his girlfriend ? Don't message her, how would you feel if you got a similar message from another girl, and block him from any social media that you use.

Abbey. Go out and take the dog for a walk.... fresh air will clear your brain and you may meet the man of your dreams with his pooch .
HAZLINNY, you posted, "this is getting boring".

If that's the case, don't read the threads.
Corby/ I have followed Abbey's threads for ages and, as many others, have tried to give her advice on the seemingly many problems she has especially with the male species. My comment was referring to her current post and not threads in general.
A little bit nit-picking here, methinks!
I agree, Hazlinny has been one of the ones who has always supported abbey on her threads and been really helpful (unlike me who is often sarky because I find it all questionable). So TCL you are saying no-one can respond to abbey unless it's to be nice, even those who have always conversed with her?
Presumably you are saying that for Ed's benefit and not abbey's.

^^^ Abbey has never mentioned "mother"and hasn't actually said who she lives with.
Haz, she had mentioned her mother (she didn't want to tell her mum she'd been made redundant) and she had said she lives 'at home' (her friend told Abbey the she, Abbey, could afford two holidays because she lives at home).
I thought abbey said she had a flat Mate?
Maybe she has moved out recently
I know it's none of our business before anyone tells me so but when a poster wants to share and ask all about clothes, jobs and boyfriends it's only natural to wat to piece together a lifestyle. I have begun to assume abbey lives with her parents and is supported financially somehow. No-one in her low level income jobs could afford the clothes and social life abbey has.

Not that there is anything wrong in any of that, lots of adults still live at home now out of necessity.

That irrelevant to my question
Agree entirely, Prudie.
You are quite right, Abbey.

I hope you are protecting your privacy on social media so that strange people can't track down your address or workplace.
14.15 Barry/ Abbey asks for advice on so many subjects (particularly what she should wear) .... I just cannot understand, if she lives at home, why she cannot model her dresses at home and ask for advice from family members? Seems normal ..at least it was for me if I was ever in doubt about the suitability of a dress or whatever. Maybe it is time for me to take TCL's advice and not look at the thread ... or, like some others, take a hike from AB for a while.
Haz...this is the 2020s...not the 1960s/70s/80s as it was for many of us when we were youngsters. I'm sure we'd have used social media also for advice if it had been available.
We'll never know, Pasta! My mother always gave honest advice ... if she were alive today, I would ask her before enquiring from strangers. ..... although I do sometimes post advice on CB, I feel I maybe shouldn't as I don't know the OP personally. C'est la vie!
