She said she wasn't free probably because she had agreed to go out with another friend already. There would be no reason fir her to feel like she should have invited you along to the coffee meet up. Maybe she and her friend have private things they needed to talk about. It does not mean she was being off with you. Why not try to set up a date for the coming week? Or week...

Yes

Yes

PS I assume you meant Overreacting, by the way?!

Maybe she wasnt free because she had already organised to see her other friend.

Let it go abbee, other people have the right to make arrangements that dont include you

Yes.

Why do you worry about such minor things?  Let it be.

It can be good to make plans and look forward to meeting up. Sometimes it is nice to see a friend just 1 to 1 if you have specific things you want to discuss. Don't worry about it. Enjoy your weekend.

I suppose she don't invite her friend when we meet up

It would be impolite and nosey to eat that much.

Huh?

Yes, she would have told you if she wanted you to know.

When you say you saw thar she met up with friend - I assume you mean a photo on Facebook. If so just put a 'like' and a lovely comment like - great photo! X

Try to look for more positives than always looking for negatives. Your friend hasn't done anything wrong and hasn't fallen out with you.

I think Old_Geezer was just making a joke about you spelling over-eating instead of over-reacting.

Oh I see

When typing quickly it is easily done.

He was just being light hearted - a bit of fun. No harm meant. 🙂

Yes, it would be overreacting Abbeylee.  People have their own lives and everyone haas  to dovetail into the lives of  others.  It would be impolite and unwise to question  that.
