absolutely loved it more than anything she had ever seen

Husband has bought her the dress as a suprise

she is size 18 and going on a diet soon

dress can only go to size 14

Please explain to him that although he means well, a dress that small is an insulting gift and he must send it back for a refund (or give it to a charity shop)

Shockingly bad idea, especially if she is the sort of size 18 that wears stretchy clothes and the size 14 dress is really a very fitted 12, as often happens
