Not exactly sure, Jo, but I think some holidays are allowed during a 6 month probationary period and the rest after that for the year.   Don't know how long Abbey's probationary period is?

It has been explained many times to Abbey that SELCO workers do shift work and that she will be expected to work her share of weekends and unsocial hours but has probably been ignored by her

Abbey, you say the 2nd guy " has told his friends about me"  That could mean  in a good way, but also in a way that he has found another girl to string along ... Also, sending you a pic of the food is proving he is out enjoying  time when he has told you he is not free to meet you. See what I mean ?
