Basically this guy was interested in my friend last weekend. We all shared a taxi and my friend was going to use him to pay for our taxi, when she told him she wasn't interested he then asked for mine and her half, we she paid him for ours incase he went knocking on her door as she asked the taxi to park down the road so he didn't know where she lived but taxi followed her. He asked to go all the way to his then she told him she not interested.

no, he should have charged you 2/3rds not 1/2!

£15 each

"my friend was going to use him to pay for our taxi"

Do you think that was fair to him?

Perhaps he sensed he was being used and didn't want to be taken for a mug.

Question Author

As soon as she told she wasn't interested. She doesn't think it was fair.

Your friend is not a nice person, Abbey

Nothing in life is free and your friend should not expect a free ride and neither should you.

If she is not interested in him, I can perfectly comprehend him not being interested in forking out for her journey home. Where does your friend get her sense of entitlement?

Why do think you and your friend shouldn't have had to pay your share?

She's obviously not a very nice person if she can't she the She was in the wrong trying to con him into paying

Abbye, the guy was very fair. Your friend sounds awful, a bit of a chancer. You're not coming across very well either - going along with your friend's plan and then not telling her afterwards that it was 100% fair of the guy!

I did offer to get my own taxi own if it was me I would tell a guy I'm not interested in to go away.

I drummed it in to my girls that they should always pay their own way, they should never put themselves in a position where a man should feel he is owed something.

Not all men are nice, not all men are better off financially. Play fair, don't take advantage.

Thanks, Abbey. I don't really understand why you need it confirmed that the guy was being fair - your friend's attitude is awful, I think anyone could see that!

I did offer my way, although man I've told you about from dogs home always pays he been in a mood by saying I'm always bottom of his list.

Yes the guy was fair. Your friend was "using him" and he had every right to ask you both to help him pay the fare. Why should he have to pay it all if your friend wasn't interested?

"I did offer my way, although man I've told you about from dogs home always pays he been in a mood by saying I'm always bottom of his list."

I'm sorry I don't know what you mean?

What does the man from the dog's home have to do with this?

The taxi drove all the way to his home first?

Question Author

No drove to mine then my friends first.

Forget it abour guy from dogs home.

Please read your posts before submitting Abby, you don't always make sense.

Are you going out with the man from the dogs' home again? I thought you'd told him you weren't interested?
