Me and my friend are going out Friday to m&c and cinema but I just wondered if I should invite my friend who I mentioned doesn't bother with me on another thread.

Abbey, my mum used to say 'you are judged by the company you keep' - and that's true.  It was good advice then and it's still good advice.  Choose your friends wisely - don't let those who aren't good for you choose you.

This post is making me dizzy.

I think the answer is written in lights in my opinion

Question Author

My friend who she now closer to hasn't said anything about inviting her

Abbey, why not just forget about it? You're giving this far more importance than it deserves!

At the risk of sounding very obvious, if someone doesn't bother with you, they could hardly be classed as a friend. Why do you make up all these crises for yourself, are you real or just someone having a laugh at our expense?

We've advised Abbey to let this let this matter go and forget about what happened with this so-called 'friend'. But Abbey clearly still mulls/frets over it and will continue to raise the issue on here I'm sure.

Toss a coin -

If it comes up heads don't invite her

If it comes up tails don't invite her

This as good an answer as any, jno...would avoid all this real or exaggerated angst.

It seems to me now though that the efficacy of the answetsisnt important; Abbey doesn't need answers- it's just attention and conversation that's is sought. And that's fine for those that want to play along or join in hoping to help in some small way.

Apologies for typos. My phone is hopeless for AB

Well tonight friend who I went with tonight pulled my hair when she was drunk after being sick under the table

Question Author

She sent a voice note

Not as bad as being sick in your hair and pulling you under the table.

Think positive.

You have such wonderful friends Abbey.

//pulled my hair when she was drunk after being sick under the table//

Hope it wasn't your short and curlys, but if it was please elaborate 🤣

Is this the same friend that led on the lad so you can get a free cab?

Perhaps it's the one who was sick on the carpet in a pub before they were all asked to leave.

Question Author

Yeah same one who led on a guy for a free lift but no not one that was sick on carpet just under the table.

Some once sang 'That's what friends are for' but in these cases I'm not sure I'd agree.

Sounds a delightful selection of friends that you have. Aren't your friends a bit old to be getting drunk and throwing up?? They're not teenagers!!

Can you and your friends ever go back to the same place twice? I'd be ashamed to. Not my idea of a good night out, not at any age

Question Author

Rest of my friends are good apart from one I asked about inviting last night
