Now she said the one in 2 weeks she might watch it local so if that means she won't go out with me again.

Oh no! etc.

Still, she'll appreciate you ignoring her and posting this guff.

Question Author

She's not the same with me I just feel so awful

I can't see how a 25 minute delay resulted in you being two hours late but did you tell her you were going to be late or was she left waiting for you to arrive.

So instead of trying to make it up to her you spend time posting to a bunch of strangers?

PS if my friend was 2 hours late for meeting me I would be really annoyed too.

Abbey, I think most people would be really hacked off with you! Two hours is an awful long time for someone to be hanging around.

Question Author

By the time I got and got ready

So if you hadn't been stuck outside with the dog for 25 minutes you'd still have been an hour and a half late.

Question Author

From 10.45 to meet 12 yes

And here's  me wondering if I should go next door to borrow a tea bag

You were wrong then.  If my friend left me waiting for two hours with no explanation I would be annoyed too.  In fact I wouldn't have been there when you arrived.  I'd have gone home.

Question Author

What can I do to make it up to her? I bet she slagging me off to other people and worried she will be the watch rugby with me anymore

Question Author

I did tell her I was late but our messages weren't going through

You can only apologise.  If she accepts it, fine - if she doesn't so be it.

Did you ring her and let her know you were running 2 hours late?

Its the rugby how did it take 1hour 35 to get ready

Where is she now, abbey?  How come you're posting here if you're with her?

Deary me. Still believing this is real.

Question Author

I'm worried I'll have no social life by end of year

Question Author

I told I was running but takes her 45 min to get into town. I tried to buy her a drink to apologize
