Gmail Inbox Playing Up!!

Hi techies. I have of late been using gmail. But its become a bit of a pain in the neck. Every time i try to open an email i get sent to the bottom of the page to read it, which is practically impossible!

Is there a quick fix?

Using a browser or the app?

You've not indicated the type of device that you're using (e.g. a PC or an Android phone) or your means of accessing Gmail (e.g. via the website or through the Gmail app on your phone).  It can make quite a big difference!

If you're using a PC or laptop though, stop using webmail (which is always a 'second best' route for emails anyway) and switch to using a dedicated email client.  (You can still use your Gmail account with it).  The Mail app that's built into Windows is basic but functional, while third party software (such as Thunderbird) offers far greater flexibility:

Try a different browser. If that fixes it, try clearing cache and cookies in original browser

The website is a little weird though. Will take a bit of getting used to, at least it opens my gmail emails!!
