my little brother still got menigitus after having the vaccination! we were told by the hospital that even tho he had it he could still get it and oviously did! in my opinion you should let ur child have the vaccination just incase but as my brother was only a very rare case.

My brother caught meningitis 2 years after getting the vaccine.

It's still worth having though because his doctor said the vaccine was what saved his life. It slowed down the progression of the disease so they had more time to diagnose him and the treatment was more effective for catching it so early.
