What relation to me (if any) is my aunts nephew? My aunt through marriage has a nephew and I was wondering if he was related to me at all... Could anyone help??

No, my aunt is no blood relative to me, her husband is! She married my mums brother. Her nephew is HER sisters child and has no blood ties to me. The whole second cousin, cousin once removed thing confuses me. I would know my own brother!!!

first cousin=both share grandparents, second cousin=both share great grandparents, third cousin=share great great grandparents (etc) and cousins once removed=there is a generation gap so your first cousin once removed=great uncle n aunties child/cousins children http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aunt this explains it all very well
