First pregnancy and instead of going once a week this last month they have me coming twice a week and i doing an ultrasound weekly and putting a monitor on me twice a week, but they aren't telling me what the problem could be. I also developed gestational diabetes. Not really worried just wondering why I need to go twice a week and have so many ultrasounds and being monitored so much. They gave me a due date of Nov 28, then said Dec 3 now they say I won't last till Nov 20. I wish they would make up my mind. LOL
Without knowing all the details, I would imagine the fact that you have developed gestational diabetes would be the probable reason for the additional scans zyndara, to check on the development of the baby.
It must be a strange mix of emotions (impatience, frustration, apprehension and excitement) for you at the moment!
Good luck with your pregnancy and with the birth... Im sure everything will be fine.

Ask them why, when ever they do anything, ask why they are doing it and what this means. If they don't know ask them to get you someone who does, or ask them to find out for you, don't accept because it's routine etc, ask why it's routine, what are they looking for. You'll probably feel less anxious because all your questions will have been answered. Good luck, it's a lovely exciting time. But you're the boss!
As you have gestational diabetes they will be doing frequent scans to check on the size of the baby, because the GD may mean your baby becomes a whopper...obviously they want to make sure the baby is a reasonable size for delivery.
You are in good hands ~ don't feel scared to ask any Qs you may have..and good luck :o)
