Ugly kids..
11 Answers
I think you are hard pushed to find a truely ugly child but when kids grow into ugly adults, do their parents think they are ugly? I was thinking about this because I took a picture of my son last night where I genuinely thought, wow, you are gonna be soo handsome, what if he isnt am I gonna know?

But I suppose you could look at them objectively and see that maybe they're not exactly model material, but because they're your children and you love them, you look past that and realise they are beautiful in their own way, even if they don't have the most perfect model features. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They'll always be the best to you because you know what lovely people they are. You look beyond just their physical features and see all the rest that makes up them as a whole.

I have to disagree with In a Pickle. My much wanted youngest son was without a doubt one of the ugliest babies I have ever seen. Years later, looking back at his photo's, I still think he looked like a cross between a bulldog and Plug from the Bash Street Kids. His looks changed dramatically in his first 12 months and he initially became cute and then drop dead gorgeous.
Its hard to define UGLY isn't it? What your idea of your ideal man/woman might be someones elses worst nightmare/they think that your ideal person would be soooo ugly. My man is 6ft 2 and gorgeous (in my eyes obviuosly) but in another persons views he would be horrid.
My 14 yr old son was born looking like YODA, however, we do joke about it now and yes I do occasionally tease him about his younger "nickname" but he has now grown into a stunning looking young man (must look like his mother then huh) lol.

I can see that four of my grown uppish sons are drop dead gorgeous, and two to be honest aren't. That's not to say they are mutants, but they lack classical handsomeness in the accepted way. They are great people and I never really think about it at all and I'm very proud of them, but they are not as attractive physically I don't think as the other four.Mind you I'm their Dad so I'm probably no judge at all, but I do think as a parent you can be somewhat objective.
My son has gone the other way - he was absolutely gorgeous till about a year ago when his front teeth fell out and he had beautiful teeth. But when the second lot came through they had a massive gap in between the front two,and they are also much much bigger than the rest.He literally is a mini Bugs Bunny, bless.Having said that,I personally think he is a cutie pie and will still grow up to be a fine young man.And I love him to bits.
