adopted brother?
4 Answers
Hi i was told a few years ago that i may have a half brother somewhere, i am not sure if this is true or not i cannot get any truth from my biological father who refuses to talk about it so it may be a load of hot air, the only details i have is my fathers name and the possible mothers name . i am so curious as to whether there is someone out there related to me as grew up an only child so would love a sibling if he exists. the details i have are as follows
father : william paterson
mother : margaret paterson.
they did live in livingston, scotland for a while but then they moved to london where they owned a pub called "the bunch of grapes" i know the details are sketchy but this is all i can get out of them, my grandmother is called elizabeth paterson who also lived in livingston. if any one has any details at all i would be so grateful as i just want to put this one to rest i would love to meet him if he exists.

Another idea would be to ring the pub or the brewery to find out the detals of the previous owners...Just a few ideas hope they help xxx

Hi, I know a few years have passed since you posted this and I hope you may have your answers since then. I reply in case you have not.
I knew a Scottish couple, Bill and Margaret Paterson who managed (not owned) a pub called the Bunch of Grapes, 2 St Thomas St, London Bridge, SE1 in the late eighties. I knew this couple reasonably well until they left this pub and as far as I knew they were childless. They had a golden labrador dog. The pub is now owned by Youngs brewery but was not at the time.

I knew this couple reasonably well for a period of around 2 years in the late eighties until they left the pub. I believe they were childless, their was nothing to suggest otherwise.
