german sons we cant get contact of

my friend has sons in germany and hasent seen them in 13 years and i would like to get contact of them. we live in the uk andwe would like to get contact of them as soon as possible due to terminal illness. i have their names and date of births. i would like to know if there is a website or anything where i can get hold of phone numbers of my sons in germany. thanks very much

I lived in Germany for 28 years and have a lot of valuable contacts there. So, if there is anything I can do i.e. get in touch with the authorities with a view to finding them, translate for you etc., please feel free to contact me. My email is [email protected]. I have dealt with the German authorities on behalf of others in similar circumstances many times before. You can also put postings on various websites such as http://suche-nach-personen.de , which lists over 120 million people living in Germany, but you need to know which town they could be in. Bearing in mind that every person living in Germany (this includes children) is registered with the police and the Einwohnermeldeamt, ( the Registrar of Residents), so your sons should be traceable.
