Nan wants access!
3 Answers
I have a baby but me and the father have split. I dont think their house is suitable for a baby, its small, too hot, and dirty. The father lives with all his family aswel, and i am not stopping any of them from seeing her, they are welcome at my house any time. The only thing i am not letting them do is have my baby at their house as i feel it is dangerous and unsuitable for a baby. The Nan says she is going to take it to court. Does she have a chance?

In a word. No... she doesn't have a prayer, and any reasonable solicitor would tell her so.
You are being more than reasonable... allowing the grandparents access to your baby. No judge would be interested in this. If what she is interested in is seeing her grandchild... well... she's got that... so on what grounds might she argue that your baby has to go to her house??
Because its more convenient??? For her??
Nobody would be interested in her 'case'... she hasn't even got one.
Instead of causing her grandchilds' mother grief, how about she actually SUPPORT you in raising your child... in small nice ways. Offering to babysit, etc etc.
Let her do her worse.... old cow!
