at what age will my son be able to see?

As soon as he is born.
Not quite cheeky chops! lol

At first he will only see shadows, if I remember rightly, they can see properly at a few weeks old.
ill always remember after babygaga was born i never got to see her until the next evening. i was petrified of touching her and it was only with persuasion from my boyfriend i took her and sat there holding her, i said hello ma wee darling and she opened her eyes for the first time and studied me, trying so hard to focus. magical. xx
When babies are born they can see for short distances, ie the distance between themselves and their mothers faces.

babies can see from birtth, they just have trouble focussing and seeing distances
