How expensive are these? talk about ripping off the disabled - I stuggle to believe that it really costs that much to manufacture these. In a world where you can buy a dvd player and have change from 20, surely somebody can work out at cheaper way to brighten up a disabled kids day.
Sorry I don't have any suggestions for you HibeesChick, but I am totally gobsmacked.

Hi HibeesChick,
I loved the film 'Brighton Rock', the main character customised her bycicle with a windmill.
I often joke with my family that when I need a set of wheels I want streamers, windmills and flowers all over it....
I realise that your circumstances are real and mine are not, but why not do your own customising.
There is so much available in shops for you....
balloons which can be changed daily, streamers, fresh or artificial flowers, tinsel and festive lights that work off batteries, ... there must be some of those lights that work like the ones on trainers, which light up when moving.
Don't spent money on the 'rip-off' sites for wheelchairs, let your sisters show their personality by choosing their own decoration.
Wish you all the best, hugs. Miss R
