i think its a high urinary tract infection but each time i get it i go to the doctors i thought they would have done something more than just antibiotics to prevent it coming back??

infections are becoming more resistant to antibiotics these days due to Dr's prescribing them willy-nilly a few years back, perhaps you need a stronger dose.
just read this, it could be possible you have gall stones, kidney infection or ibs go back to your doctors or walk in centre for another opinion.
Where is your pain exactly? I had a UTI recently and ended up being kept in hospital nil by mouth as they thought it was my appendix. Luckily it wasnt but, depending on where your pain is, it may be worth suggesting.
