Do you still eat dinner around the table as a family?

I think sharing a meal at the table is also a great way of communicating as well, especially when we all lead busy lives nowadays

me and my bf normally sit in sofa having food, he is either checking Internet or watching tv with me.when I am with my parents,we normally sit around table,think it's niice tradition

This is a problem in our household! I was brought up to eat at the table with family yet he always ate on his lap in front of the TV which I hate!

We compromise and do it both ways but I am insistent that when we have kids, we'll all sit at the table together - I used to love doing that when I was at home....and although we only have a flat as opposed to a house, we are fortunate enough to have a seperate dining room.

It's a priceless family tradition.
