Ancestry.com?

Hi i was just wondering if ancestry.com gives you the actual birth day of sum1 your lookin for in the births deaths an marriage section if you pay? does anybody know?

I've never subscribed, but the library edition (thats free access) has it on some records it depends how far back you are going.

No it doesn't. There is no way of getting an exact date of birth marriage or death without buying the relevant certificate. You can't view actual certificates on any site (English ones anyway, Scottish ones you can).

What you can do is look on ancestry.co.uk and do a search of the later death index, which will usually include the date of birth, but it is only the 1984-2003 deaths.

dot.hawkes she was born in Febuary 1999 but it wont tell me the date,it says i need to get credit to see the date,does it let you see the date? if so can u look up Jasmine Barbara Caine for me and let me know plz she is registerd in cheshire

Shes my daughter by the way who i havent long known about but tryin to trace her an get as much info as possible.

Kevo, as I said you can't view the exact date of birth without buying the certificate. The date of birth is diplayed on the DEATH indexes from 1984 onwards so unless your daughter has passed away, you can't view her date of birth anywhere.

i am just starting to do family tree,
don't use just ancestary sites, they are very good but what about the records in your local librabry.they may have newspaper and church records, go and ask. mine is very helpful, and it's all free.

If you live quite local to where she was born you should be able to go and look up her birth certificate and the local archives.
Im on ancestry,com and find it excellent for anyone doing their family tree.
