sheets, duvets or both

hi ppls this is gonna sound a funny 1 but what do u use on ur bed 4 u and your children. just a duvet or duvet with a top sheet?

I use a duvet on my bed and on my daughters bed. When its cold I put a fleece blanket on top of my daughters duvet.

I use a sheet and duvet so I can shove the duvet down when i over-heat lol

Sheets underneath then a duvet cover on the duvet... I don't think I could be happy with just a nekkid duvet on my bed... But I also use underslips on my pillows, to help keep down the dust mites..

Hello tazz , nice to meet you . I use both , and in the winter and cooler nights I also have a throw and a quilted throwover on the bottom half of the bed ....I'm a cold fish ;-)

I use a sheet + a duvet cos I need to feel tucked-in. x

Use a sheet under the duvet (means cover doesn't need washing and ironing so often) and it's warmer! Kids only have a duvet cos they get in enough of a mess with that (and I don't iron their covers)!

Just a duvet for just me....find it gets messy with a sheet,also. A fleecy throw for when it gets cold..( or a cat)

hee hee, i dont even move in my bed, and occupy a wee teeny corner when I get up in the mornin I just fold the corner back and the bed is made lol

i put a throw on top of my duvet, only for decoration purpose tho, but now my dog kept jumping on it and chewing, cratching, so dont think it gonna last long.

thanx ppls 4 your answers. yes by just a duvet i mean in a devet cover. would b minging without lol. i say use o topsheet as well but other half says just devet. just wondered what was most coomon lol but seems abt half n half.x

Bottom sheet, top sheet and duvet. Much easier to launder sheets than continually struggle to change a king size duvet cover because it's been next to sweaty skin. Also ensures that when it gets warmer it's possible to throw back the duvet yet still have some protection from any draughts from the open window.

I have recently bought fleecy top sheets for the kids beds, they have a bottom sheet, then duvet (in cover ) and a fleecy throw, my daughters is gorgeous, Im quite jealous!! and its pink!!

my sons have winnie the pooh ones, its gives them that little bit extra on a cold night because their rooms can get a bit nippy in the small hours
